Card Making Project - Robin on Gold

Marianne Creatables Anja's Squares cut from gold mirror card make a shiny background to give a real Christmas look to this card with an oval robin card topper as the centrepiece. Die cut flourishes and flowers, plus beads, and a bow complete a card that's easy to make.
This card is made using a 148mm x 148mm square scalloped edged card with the edges inked in metallic gold.
Mary made the red bow from 7mm ribbon but if you find making small bows fiddly you can either use a bowmaker or a ready made red bow.
You need a die cutting machine to make this card.

To make this card you will need:

Using the metallic gold ink pad lightly apply the ink to the scalloped edges of the card blank.
Place the second and third largest dies (one nestled inside the other) on the platform of the die cutting machine and run through with some gold mirror card to cut. Change plates and run through again to emboss. Poke out any of the tiny pieces that might remain in the die cut and then glue both die cuts to the front of the card blank using photo glue.
Push out the oval die cut robin topper from the card topper sheet and attach to the centre of the Anja's Squares using 3D foam pads or Pinflair glue.
Using the smooth white card run through the flower die from the Anja's Squares set and the ivy die from the Ivy set once to cut then again to emboss.
Using both the dies from the Anja's Vintage Ovals set with the Stardream Emerald card and the flower die from the Anja's Squares set with a piece of the left over mirror card run through the die cutting machine to cut.
Glue the ivy to the bottom left of the Anja's Squares, the larger Vintage Swirl at the bottom right of the Anja's Square with the swirl at the top, and the smaller Vintage Swirl along the bottom right corner using photo glue.
Attach a self adhesive gold gem to the centre of the white Anja's flower and a glitter pearl to the centre of the gold flower and, using mini glue dots, place over the scrolls in the bottom right of the Anja's squares with the gold flower overlapping the white one.
Tie a red bow, or use a ready made one, and fix in place on the card using mini glue dots.
