Card Making Project - Champagne Celebration

An absolutely stunning card made using a die cutting machine such as the Big Shot or Cuttlebug.The embossing with cut out pieces was done using the Marianne Designables Swirl which is no longer available but if you don't already have one simply use a pretting embossing folder instead.
This card would be ideal as an anniversary card, special birthday card, or any other occasion that is cause for celebration.

To make this card you will need:
 A4 Stardream Opal Card cut and creased to 148mm x 148mmStardream Azalea CardStardream Opal CardCuttlebug, Big Shot or similar die cutting machineMarianne Designables Swirl or deep embossing folderFancy Edge Oval Die (such as found in the Spellbinders Nestabilities range)Nellie's Multi Frame Die Border-2 or Spellbinders Borderabilities Die Brackets5mm Self adhesive Clear GemsFizzy Moon Celebrations Hearts Decorative StickersPhoto GlueMini Glue DotsIvory Chiffon BowEaziScore or other scoring tool |

Cut the Stardream Azalea card to 140mm x 140mm. Using the Border Die run the card and die through the die cutting machine. Glue the Stardream Azalea card to the Stardream Opal creased card, using photo glue, leaving a 5mm gap at the top, bottom and left hand side.
Cut a piece of the Stardream Opal card to measure 130mm x 130mm. Using the same Border Die run the card and die through the die cutting machine so that one edge has the curvy border. Using the a different border die from the same set run the piece of card through the die cutting machine again creating a border on the opposite side.
Centre the Stardream Opal card in the Marianne Designables Swirl folder (or your embossing folder) and run through the die cutting machine. Glue the die cut and embossed Stardream Opal card to the Stardream Azalea card, using photo glue, ensuring that the Opal card is centred and the right hand borders are aligned.
Select a fancy edge oval die that is just slightly larger than the decorative sticker. Using another piece of the Stardream Azalea card run the card and die through the die cutting machine.
Using photo glue, glue the die cut oval in place.
Stick self adhesive clear gems in place along the left hand border.
Stick the self adhesive 3D decorative sticker on the die cut oval.
Add the ivory bow to the top left hand corner using Mini glue dots.
