Card Making Projects Angel Policy
You are welcome to copy any of the designs in the Card Making Projects Gallery for your own personal use, including making cards to sell. However, there are a few dos and don'ts.
 All the designs in the Gallery are the property of Card Making Projects and are subject to copyright except where the card design is attributed to a third party.Where the design is attributed to a third party then the third party holds the copyright, e.g. Marianne Design.
We ask that if you make the card to sell you attribute the design to Card Making Projects. e.g. A Card Making Projects Design Handmade by (your name). Another example of how this can be worded is The Christmas Village card which Madeleine adapted from an original idea by Marianne Designs.
You may sell cards made using the designs in the Card Making Projects Gallery either for Charity or for profit providing that sales are local, that is through small shops, craft fairs, to friends or relatives within the area in which you live.
You may not sell cards nationally or via the Internet without the permission of Card Making Projects.
You may not copy a Card Making Projects card and enter it into a competition as your own idea.
Please Note
Designs using some materials, e.g. dies, stamps, or decoupage, may be subject to an angel policy by the manufacturers of the product. Where that is the case then the manufacturer's angel policy will have precedence. Our cards feature products from many manufacturers and where an angel policy exists you should be able to find it on the manufacturer's website or by emailing the company.
We have reproduced the Marianne Design angel policy below as Marianne Design products are used probably more than any others. Marianne Design policy covers all Marianne Design products - not just dies.
Marianne Design Angel Policy
Marianne Design has an Angel Policy, which means: you are free to use all Marianne Design products to make cards and other projects for personal use. You are permitted to show the images of your cards and your projects on your website, blog, forum, etc.
You are permitted to sell your own cards and projects, but only for non-commercial use. This means they will have to be handmade by you and you will have to sell them yourself on a local market, fair or any other small sales point and with a limited quantity not to exceed 50 pieces.
All images of stamps, Creatables, Craftables, Collectables, Designables, paper blocs and decoupage sheets are copyrighted by Marianne Design and by the artist who exclusively designed them for Marianne Design. As such they are only sold for the personal use of the consumer without the right to reproduce the copyrighted images for commercial purposes.
This means it is not permitted to:
reproduce or sell the copyrighted images of stamps, Creatables, Craftables, Collectables, Designables, paper blocs or decoupage sheets in whichever way, (entirely, partially or worked) via internet (neither for free nor against payment) or to offer them for reprinting. Also the reproducing of the designs by making paper cut outs and sell this is not permitted due to their copyright. Also scanning the designs for electric cutters and spreading these images is not permitted.
